Small, Intimate & Beautiful Kent Wedding
A small, intimate wedding they told me!! It was that and a whole lot more!
So here’s a small part of the storey.
Elsie & Michael approached me and said was I free on November 5th to shoot their wedding in Bromley & Keston (it was top secret at the time) and if I wasn’t then when was I available around that time as they really wanted it to be me that captured their big day.
Now if you want to get my attention then offering to change your wedding date to book me is ALWAYS going to win!!
Fireworks night was the date. . I was free!!! (The Arsenal had been moved to Sunday)
They had planned a small, yet beautiful registry office wedding in Bromley and then onto Keston Village Hall.
He won’t admit it but the Groom was under pressure to make everything just perfect. He was decorating the hall and organising the DJ’s . Making sure cakes turned up and flowers were arriving.
The girls. . . well they drank champagne and generally chilled. (Elsie had forgotten her wedding vows . . . I sorted that out. . . no biggie).
The ceremony was small but the vows. . . oh man. Not a dry eye in the house.
They had planned to have 479 group photo’s in the gardens (against my advice) but luckily it was -4 and we did my normal 10!
Onto Keston Village Hall and the reception. It was beautifully decorated and had a real personal touch (although having pink up-lighters causes chaos for photographers).
The party started, speeches, cake cutting, a GIANT BBQ (yep -4) and dancing.
It rocked.
Yes it was a ” small intimate and beautiful wedding ” . . . but it was awesome!
Elsie & Michael. Take a bow. You guys were awesome and I LOVED LOVED LOVED being there.
