Mountains Country House Wedding Photography – Rachelle & Simon
Sometimes you know a wedding is going to be a great day, a beautiful day. I knew that from the very first meeting with Rachelle & Simon. Their wedding at Mountains Country House was going to be special.
I wasn’t disappointed. The sun shone from the moment I arrived at Hever Hotel in Edenbridge. The prep was chilled and fun and all the girls were on great form. The ceremony was held at St Johns in Hildenborough. As a wedding photographer you’re always slightly nervous as to how happy and relaxed the vicar/priest is going to be. This guy was superb, taking selfies and having a laugh with everyone! It makes my job super fun and easy.
Onto the Fun
A few group shots outside the church then off Mountains Country House for the wedding breakfast/ party / chaos!
The marquee was superbly dressed and the grounds beautiful. Drinks and canapés were had before the breakfast and speeches.
Without wanting to upset any of my previous “best men” these guys (there were 3 of them!) smashed it. Just the right ammount of piss mickey taking and heartfelt love (straight into my top 5 best men speeches!).
I persuaded Rachelle & Simon to climb over two fences and walk quite a way to a field I had spotted for their bridal portraits.
It was worth it as you can see.
It was onto the cake cutting and first dance before the chaos of the party could begin.
And from what i’ve been told it was quite a party!!
