The Wonderful Wedding of Chelsea & Lewis
You sometimes know that a wedding is going to be amazing and that was the feeling I got before shooting Chelsea and Lewis’s at the stunning Buxted Park Hotel. The wedding photography was always going to be amazing!
I’d met with the couple a few times to talk through the day and also to do a pre-wedding shoot. A great family who’s happiness and love shone out from the day I met them.
Everything was in place, great suppliers, great venue and amazing venue!
The one thing you pray for when you’re a photographer is the weather. Well, the day was just perfect, sunny, big floaty white clouds and a gentle breeze!
The dream team of suppliers!!
Its always a worry who you will work with on the day but Chelsea & Lewis had done their research! The videographer, the quite wonderful and talented Sian from Truly Madly Films is one of my faves (don’t tell her though!). The magician Spencer Wood is someone I’ve worked with lots over the 10 years I’ve been doing this and he never ever disappoints.
The cake was A M A Z I N G! Hall of Cakes are simply one of the best in the business. The florists were also bang on! Floral Explosion are a great team that always deliver stunning flowers, bouquets and table decorations!
Then there’s the singing waiters from Silver Service Singers (a surprise for Lewis and all the guests!) who literally got people dancing on the table! Unreal!! The best i’ve seen.
The evening DJ was Jimmy Lee from Devoted Events who got the dance floor buzzing till home time!
What a Day!
The day was simply perfect in every way. To see Chelsea’s Dad overcome with emotion when he saw her was something that I will never forget! To see their daughter make a run for freedom just as she was about to walk down the aisle had everyone in tears of laughter. The ceremony, the magic, the singing waiters, the weather, the venue, the whole god damn feel of the day. I loved it all.
Seriously Chelsea should start a wedding planning business as it couldn’t have gone any better!
Take me back!
